Wengi Web Hackathon

Code of Conduct:

All participants of this hackathon are expected to abide by our Code of Conduct, both online and during in-person events that are hosted and/or associated with Wengi Web – herein referred to as the ‘project’.

Our Pledge:

We pledge to make participation in our project and community a harassment-free experience for everyone, regardless of age, body size, disability, ethnicity, gender identity and expression, level of experience, nationality, personal appearance, race, religion, or sexual identity and orientation, in the interest of fostering an open and welcoming environment.

Our Standards:

The following are some examples of behavior that helps to create a comfortable space:

• Using language that is inviting and inclusive
• Respecting the perspectives and experiences of others
• Accepting instructive criticism gracefully
• When in doubt, use gender-neutral pronouns and refer to persons using their preferred pronouns.

Participants' undesirable behavior can be exemplified by the following:

• Trolling, insulting/derogatory comments, and public or private harassment are all examples of trolling.
• Without specific permission, publishing other people's private information, such as a physical or electronic address.
• Not respecting appropriate communication boundaries such as 'leave me alone,' 'go away,' or 'I'm not talking to you about this.'
• Unwelcome sexual attention or approaches, as well as the use of sexualized language or imagery
• Swearing and the use of obscene or upsetting words are prohibited.
